Frequently Asked Questions

  • Because hormones fluctuate between the follicular and luteal phase, we want to prime the right nutrients into the body to align with this fluctuation to set up for optimal balance.

  • Birth control and other hormonal contraceptives work by delivering synthetic hormones (like estrogen and progestin) to suppress ovulation and create changes in the cervix and uterine lining. Cycle Sync could interfere with or alter the intended effects of birth control, including decreasing its effectiveness in preventing pregnancy.

Therefore, the question to ask yourself is, why am I taking birth control? If it is for preventing pregnancy, Cycle Sync may not be your answer. But if the reason is something else, such as acne, painful periods, or hormone imbalance, it may be worth looking into trying to balance your hormones naturally instead with Cycle Sync. It does take time and effort, and should be under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

  • If you are having a period, start Phase 1 on the first day of menstruation. Take Phase 1 for 15 days and phase 2 until next menstruation. It would be advised to track your cycle while taking this product for best results. Knowing your ovulation day will allow the proper time to transition between phases.

If you have not had a period for more than 3 months, it would be advised to contact your healthcare professional before starting Cycle Sync.

  • It is not suggested to take while pregnant. A prenatal should be taken during pregnancy and lactation. Cycle Sync is safe to take up until conception.

  • Yes, this can help alleviate estrogen dominance symptoms and help hormone production during perimenopause years.*

  • You should see improved symptoms within a couple weeks. However, it is suggested to take for at least 3 months before seeing changes in your menstrual cycle. The closer you can track your cycle to this product, the better the results. The product should also be accompanied by healthy habits such as proper hydration, daily movement, quality sleep, reducing stress, and an anti-inflammatory nutrition approach.*

  • It is suggested to take Cycle Sync with your first meal of the day. Taking without food may cause indigestion.

  • The use of this product should be consulted with a physician before using for those under the age of 18.

  • Hormone Tracking with Apps - The Natural Cycles app is compatible with Oura Ring, Apple Watch, and NC° Thermometers. The algorithm automatically syncs & analyzes your data for you. It can even monitor physical and emotional changes to spot patterns and get alerts for irregularities.

Hormone Tracking with Wearables - Devices like Tempdrop, Ava, or Oura track BBT, HRV, and sleep to estimate ovulation.

Basal Body Temperature (BBT) Method - Use a basal thermometer to measure body temperature every morning before getting out of bed. Before ovulation temperature is lower (97.0°F–97.7°F) and after ovulation progesterone causes a temperature rise (above 97.8°F). When there’s a half-degree rise in your temperature, you’re ovulating.

Calendar method - Track cycle length (from the first day of one period to the first day of the next). Subtract 14 days from your cycle length to give you an estimated ovulation day. For example, for an average 30 day cycle, your estimated ovulation date is Day 16. The more data you have on cycle length (multiple months worth), the more accurate the estimation. This method is likely to be the least accurate of those listed above.

  • Phase 1 includes menstruation and the follicular phase, while Phase 2 includes ovulation and the luteal phase. Therefore, on the day of ovulation, you will switch into Phase 2. Use the above tracking methods to correctly track your cycle. If unable to do so, take Phase 1 for 15 days, Phase 2 for 15 days.

  • This is where tracking your ovulation is very important, so you can still align the phases correctly. Some may experience a shorter or longer follicular phase, some may experience a shorter or longer luteal phase. By knowing your ovulation day, you know when to switch to the next phase. If your cycle is longer than 30 days, there may be a couple day gap between taking the next phase.

  • A proper cycle will help with fertility, so yes it can help regulate hormones for conception. In particular, this product helps solve progesterone insufficiency, which is a common cause of fertility issues. In addition, tracking your cycle will help you determine your ovulation day, which is very important for knowing what days you are most fertile.*

  • Yes, but it may not be as efficient. It will help lower inflammation and provide proper detoxification, but it will not necessarily help improve hormone levels to the same degree due to lower hormone production at this stage.*
